Fr. Daniel Cardó, PhD, is the pastor of Holy Name Catholic parish in Sheridan, CO.  He was born in Lima, Peru, in 1975. He was ordained to the Catholic priesthood in 2006 and in 2010 was appointed to Holy Name Parish, Denver.  He earned his Doctorate in 2015, specializing in liturgy and early Christian literature. He is the author of “Fe en el Pensamiento de Joseph Ratzinger,” (University of Navarre), “The Cross and the Eucharist in Early Christianity” (forthcoming – Cambridge University Press), and of several articles. He teaches liturgical courses at St. John Vianney Seminary, and is visiting professor at the Augustine Institute. He is a board member of the Society for Catholic Liturgy, and co-founder of Source and Summit Institute for Liturgical Renewal and Sacred Music.
