Dr. Bob Rice

Dr. Bob Rice is an associate professor of Catechetics and the director of the Masters of Arts in Catechetics and Evangelization at Franciscan University of Steubenville. Although much smaller in content than the dissertation of his mentor, Dr. Eric Westby, Bob has a PhD from Liverpool Hope University in the UK where he researched Catholic youth and evangelisation. In the classroom, Bob combines his academic knowledge with over decades of youth ministry experience. Outside the classroom, Bob is an internationally known speaker, acclaimed musician, and innovative writer. He’s has authored numerous books, articles, and award-winning scripts that help people come to a deeper understanding of the Catholic faith. He has recorded twelve CDs and leads worship for over twenty thousand people every year, mostly through the Steubenville Adult and Youth Conferences.
