Fr. Matt Henry is a priest of the diocese of Phoenix. Father Matthew Henry currently serves as Rector of Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral. He recently returned to the Diocese of Phoenix after four years at the University of Dallas, doing a PhD in English Literature. Before that, Father Matt served as Pastor of Christ the King in Mesa and Parochial Vicar of Saints Simon and Jude Cathedral. He has belonged to the ecclesial movement Communion and Liberation since 2005 and is a huge fan of Father Luigi Giussani, founder of the movement. Father Matt’s favorite sport is reading, although he enjoys playing guitar and watching his Arizona teams play football, basketball, and baseball.
