Course Description

In these sessions, Fr. Kenney will examine the historical foundations of liturgy.  These sessions will introduce the participant to:

- The Biblical Roots of Christian Liturgy
- The Development of Liturgy through the Council of Trent
- Reforms and Impact of the Council of Trent

Fr. Keith Kenney

Fr. Keith Kenney was born on Luke Air Force Base in Arizona. He graduated from Cactus High School in 1992. Later he joined the United States Navy as an Aviation Electronics Technician. He served 8 years as active military and 2 years in the Naval Reserves. He returned home to Phoenix and worked as an Electronics Technician and then as a salesman for a coffee distributor.  In 2006 he applied for seminary. He received his baccalaureate degree in Philosophy from the Pontifical College Josephinum in Columbus, Ohio. After graduation, he transferred to St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado where he received a Masters of Divinity and an S.T.B. He was ordained to the priesthood on the Feast of the Immaculate Heart June 28th, 2014. He was assigned as the parochial vicar of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Glendale, Arizona and as chaplain to St. Mary's Catholic High School. On July 1, 2016 he was assigned as the parochial administrator of St. Margaret Mary in Bullhead City where he was later installed as Pastor on October 1, 2017.
