Course Description
The benefits of living a Christian life are found in knowing and loving Jesus Christ. This course is designed to help participants know the dynamic core of Jesus' message as passed on from generation in the Church's teachings. To help this, the United States Bishops published the 2006 United States Catholic Catechism for Adults (USCCA), the first US catechism since the Baltimore Catechism. As a local catechism to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the USCCA is written for adults at any level of theological expertise, allowing for easy entry into the teachings of the Church. This course walks the participant through each of the 36 chapters of the USCCA and includes quizzes to help learn the essentials of the faith.
