Fr. John Klockeman

Father John Klockeman is a native of the Twin Cities and a priest of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. He was ordained to the priesthood in May of 2000. Father Klockeman holds a Masters of Divinity degree from the Saint Paul Seminary and a Masters of Theology degree from Franciscan University of Steubenville. Following his ordination, he was assigned to Saint Olaf Catholic Church in downtown Minneapolis. In addition to his duties as an associate pastor, he focused on outreach to young adults, catechesis, and wider public outreach on the cable television show, Generation Cross. From 2003 to 2009 he served as a spiritual director and formation director for seminarians at Saint John Vianney College Seminary. In 2009 he was assigned to the Saint Paul Seminary where he now serves as the assistant director of spiritual formation and teaches at the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute. He has appeared locally and nationally on television and radio programs, has conducted a number of parish missions, and has spoken at various conferences across the United States. Prior to his ordination to the priesthood, Father Klockeman worked in the medical products field and in the aerospace industry utilizing his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and International Business from Arizona State University.

From the St. Thomas the Apostle Advent Mission of 2023, Fr. John Klockeman offers an introduction to the charisms, the spiritual gifts God has given each one of us.
