Course Description

C.S. Lewis’ Mere Christianity has truly become a modern classic. Compiled from the original BBC broadcasts during World War II, it was published in book form in 1952. Mere Christianity is widely considered a basic foundation in Christian apologetics and has led many to embrace the Faith. In this class we will examine the basics doctrines of Christianity as presented by Lewis and assist the student to see how Lewis’ presentation of these doctrines harmonize with and diverge from Catholic tradition. The overall intention of the class is to present basic Christian doctrine to the student in a very accessible way.
