Course Description

In this lecture, Larry examines the life of Pope St. John XXIII.

Instructor

Dr. Larry Fraher

Larry Fraher, Ph.D. has served his entire career in the Diocese of Phoenix at a variety of parish, school, diocesan, and university levels.  He holds both a BA in Theology and a MA in Systematics from St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN, and a Ph.D. in Art and Religion from the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA, where he wrote his dissertation on the imagination as the principal faculty in faith formation.  His current research interests lie in examining the loss of a Catholic and Sacramental sensibility among the faithful and examining paths for recovery.  Dr. Fraher is currently the Director of Faith Formation and Education at Blessed Sacrament Parish, Scottsdale.  He is married to Heather and they have 3 young adult daughters.
